|Donate||Leadership Hamilton Class 29 Boys & Girls Club Project
Leadership Hamilton Class 29 has chosen their project to be one of support, growth and caring for the children who attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hamilton. They currently use a converted locker room for their Homework Help Room, which is not conducive for learning. Leadership Hamilton class participants want to create a space that provides better lighting and room for the kids to do their work comfortably, as well as provide them with a space to relax, read and partake in additional activities. As we continue to navigate new waters through this pandemic, children are in need of additional support. Children have been out of school since mid-March, and the level of learning loss is great. Organizations like the Boys & Girls Club are needed now more than ever to help kids overcome the learning deficit and to provide a safe space for our children to grow. It is our goal to secure enough funding to renovate the room and provide funding for the purchase of much needed PPE and cleaning products. This fund was established to assist in securing charitable dollars to make this project a success.
