|Donate||John A. Trent Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established by the family and friends of John Trent in his memory. John graduated from Taft High School and worked as an intake officer with the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center for many years. He also worked as a paraprofessional at Garfield High School and Hamilton High school where he was known as “Mr. T.”. After returning to school and graduating from Miami University, he taught at Princeton City Schools and Hamilton City Schools. John was a passionate golfer, playing with the Chatterbox team in the Tavern League, the Cincinnati Lefties and the Ohio and National Association of Lefthanded Golfers. He was a long time employee of the pro shop at Twin Run Golf Course where he most enjoyed helping with the junior clinics. To continue John’s passion of working with young people, his renewable scholarship is offered to graduates of Hamilton and Talawanda school districts who enjoy golf and are furthering their education in any type of postsecondary program.

|Donate||Marcum Park Maintenance Fund
This fund was established to support the on-going maintenance of Marcum Park. The six acre park sits on the site of the former Mercy Hospital. “That ground has meaning for our family,” said Joe Marcum, who says three of their children were born at the former Mercy Hospital. “The hospital may not be there anymore but the memories sure are.” The park was a generous gift from the Marcum family in 2016 . “I want it to be a park that is both utilitarian and a thing of beauty,” said Joe Marcum. Marcum Park has become a central gathering place for the community and has promoted the health and well-being of the community, leading to a destination point for families.
|Donate||Fortified Hill at Pyramid Hill Park Fund
This fund was established in 2019 to support the preservation of this registered historic site near Hamilton, Ohio. The site is one of six Hopewell Culture earthworks on the Great Miami River included on a map in Ancient Monuments of the Mississippi Valley published by the Smithsonian Institution in 1848. The site was initially documented in 1836, but it has never been excavated. Today, it is the only one of the six earthworks that survives. The perimeter earthworks enclose some 17 acres on the top of a high hill. Preservation of the Fortified Hill site will contribute to public knowledge about the site’s significance and the importance of cultural resource preservation. The preserve will be used as open space and protected against future development.
